The CAT (Cambridge Anthropology-Theology) Network was founded in 2022 by Joseph Webster and Susie Triffitt. Emerging from a dialogue within and between the two disciplines, the CAT Network is an online space created to encourage greater global collaboration between staff and students in Anthropology and Theology who share a research interest in contemporary religion, ritual, belief, and doctrine. CAT is not limited to Cambridge and its members hail from across the world. CAT currently has over 330 members from over 20 countries.

CAT holds bi-weekly lunch-time Zoom meetings during term-time. The meetings consist of a 15 to 20-minute talk, a 5-minute response, and then open questions from the Network.
